This is not a mock draft. Team needs, positional value, off-field concerns and projected landing spots are not part of the equation.

This board answers one question: Who are the best football players eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft?

1. Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Smith is the most complete player in this class. He combines elite size, speed, body control, route-running ability and ball skills. He looks like a future No. 1 NFL receiver and remains the clear leader of the board.

2. Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas

Simmons is an explosive and increasingly polished edge defender who can wreck an offensive game plan. His five-sack performance against Tennessee demonstrated just how dominant he can become.

3. Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

This ranking is based strictly on talent. Stewart possesses rare acceleration, length, flexibility and closing speed. His pass-rush arsenal still needs refinement, but his physical ceiling is among the highest in the draft.

His behavior may eventually cost him several draft positions. It does not change the player we see on film. I suspect his on field antics, mainly is disobedience with the coaches, is going to cost him 10 or 12 spots on this list.

4. Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Moore has the length, recovery speed and coverage instincts NFL teams want in a premier outside corner. He can challenge receivers at the line and remain connected down the field.

5. Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Coleman is a physically imposing receiver with excellent length, body control and contested-catch ability. Improved quarterback play could help him establish himself as a legitimate top-five selection.

6. Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Goosby has the frame, movement ability and length to become a franchise left tackle. He continues to improve technically and possesses the athletic tools to handle NFL edge speed.

7. Darian Mensah, QB, Miami

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Mensah has played his way to the top of this quarterback class. He is accurate, poised and decisive, and he distributes the football without unnecessarily placing it in danger. Right now, he looks more NFL-ready than the quarterbacks ranked behind him.

8. David Stone, DL, Oklahoma

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Stone brings power, quickness and positional flexibility to the defensive interior. He can anchor against the run while possessing enough athletic ability to create pressure from inside.

9. Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Seaton is a powerful and athletic tackle with an NFL body. He can create movement in the running game and has the foot quickness to protect the edge against speed rushers.

10. Arch Manning, QB, Texas

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Manning has started to redeem himself after entering the season with unrealistic expectations. The arm talent, mobility and football intelligence are evident, but he must demonstrate greater consistency before moving higher.

11. Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Robinson has the size, athleticism and coverage ability to develop into a legitimate No. 1 cornerback. His combination of press-man potential and ball skills gives him tremendous upside.

12. A’Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Washington is an unusually explosive interior defender for a man his size. He can occupy blockers, disrupt the running game and collapse the pocket with power.

13. Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Echoles is a powerful and active interior lineman who plays with leverage and holds his ground against the run. He also possesses the quickness to create problems as an inside pass rusher.

14. Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Baugh has forced his way into the discussion. He runs with power, balance and purpose and has become one of the country’s most productive offensive players. Running backs are often devalued on draft day, but positional value is not part of this board.

15. Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana

JB’S 2027 NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD

Becker is a big, physical receiver with strong hands and impressive body control. He consistently creates opportunities downfield and has the skill set to develop into a dependable NFL target.

This is only our first Big Board. Players will rise and fall as the season continues, but nobody will move because of hype, recruiting rankings or the logo on the helmet.

The film will determine the board.
